Join a Task Force Today
The InfraGard Iowa Board is looking for members who would like to participate in one of several task forces to assist the board and chapter in areas that will increase the quantity and quality of content and activities that our organization provides to our members and state wide community. We see these teams and positions as the next stepping stones to grow and mature our chapter in a way that will over time position us to contribute to the FBI and InfraGard national organization's strategic plan and assist in securing the nation's critical infrastructures and key resources that are economically and socially vital to our state and country.
We as members joined InfraGard with the goal to obtain knowledge and collaborate with others in our areas of interest and expertise in this organization that has a unique direct partnership with the FBI where we can both lean how to better protect our organizations from threats while also contributing to the FBI's effort to prevent hostile acts against our communities. I ask that you please consider participating in our chapter's efforts to further this objective.
As team meetings will be held via conference calls and email collaboration, your geographical location in the state is not essential in your ability to participate and we highly desire and encourage participation from all corners of Iowa to ensure that we have coverage and representation state wide.

The level of time commitment will be variable and identified by the task force teams themselves as they evolve and be determined by their team size and ongoing project needs. Each task force will report to the chapter board monthly.
The task force teams that the InfraGard Iowa board has identified are:
Content & Activities: The content and activities task force focuses on topics, speakers, and venues for monthly, annual, and misc chapter meetings, as well as community outreach and public educational events.
Fundraising: The fundraising task force works to fill the financial gaps of the board's financial needs assessment by seeking out event sponsors, donors, and in-kind gifts.
Recruiting: The recruiting task works to engage quality over quantity membership for active contribution from individuals and organizations for our Sectors and Special Interest Groups based on the 16 critical infrastructures.
Communication: The communication task force focuses Information collection for dissemination to membership as well as the technical delivery methods such as our email, website, remote meeting access, online document repositories and other methods for delivery of our content to our geographically distributed state wide membership.
